Job summary

Burns & McDonnell India is seeking an experienced architect to join our Global Facilities team in Mumbai, leading architectural design activities on projects primarily for the North America region. You will report to the Architectural Section manager and help build a capable team to support future facility design.

Responsibilities include guiding design from concept to construction administration, developing and reviewing drawings and specifications, assisting in interiors aligned with client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience; Life science, technology, aerospace, military, and industrial facilities preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD and SketchUp is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams and work on design projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
• Develop, modify, and review construction drawings and specifications for the listed facilities.
• Assist in development of interiors based on client vision and project manager requirements.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry.
• Guide the 3D visualization team in developing concepts and final architectural renderings.
• Manage data compiled as required by project managers.
• Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors to help develop new business opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

This group will provide engineering services for Life Science and Technology and Aerospace and Industrial.

We are looking for an experienced, architect to join our growing Global Facilities team in Mumbai office to lead and support architectural design activities on projects mainly in North America region. The successful candidate will report to the Architectural Section manager and will assist in building an architectural team to support future facility design projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams and works on a variety of design projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
• Develop, modify, and review construction drawings and specification for above listed facilities.
• Assist in the development of interiors based on client vision and architectural needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry.
• Guide the 3d visualization team in developing concepts and final architectural rendering.
• Manage data complied as required by the project managers.
• Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors to help develop new business opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from accredited program is required.

3-7 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in Life science and Technology, aerospace, military, and industrial facilities is preferred.
• Ability to work across disciplines to develop a coordinated design package.
• Must have ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Professional Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a must.

Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD and Sketchup is mandatory.

Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
