Job summary

Akamai Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an Associate Security Architect to monitor and mitigate real-time cyber attacks within our SOCC. You will engage in critical events for managed security customers, deploying mitigations and coordinating with technical teams to protect online presence.

The role involves threat analysis, collaboration with customers, and development of tooling enhancements to strengthen security posture across the distributed cloud platform.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant industry experience on Akamai Platform OR networking OR Web application Security.
• Knowledge of how the internet works, including DNS, HTTP and IP protocols.
• Familiarity with OWASP top 10 and related security implications.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks, using Akamai products & platform.
• Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customer's digital properties and/or their business network.
• Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on mitigation and analysis.
• Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement.

Respond to cyber attacks in real time

As an Associate Security Architect, you'll engage in critical network and attack‑related events for Akamai's managed security customers. Help identify real time cyber‑attacks, strategize & deploy mitigations while neutralizing adverse impact to the end users.

As an Associate Security Architect Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks, using Akamai products & platform


• Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customer's digital properties and/or their business network


• Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis


• Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement.
