Job summary

Eaton India Innovation Center in Pune seeks an Engineer-Reliability to join the Center for Reliability & Safety. You will drive DFR and reliability activities across NPI and SE projects for Mobility product lines, collaborating with global teams to mitigate risks and deliver high-quality results.

The role emphasizes reliability predictions, FMEA, RDT, and FRACAS, with data-driven warranty analysis and cross-functional mentoring to strengthen product reliability across eMobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Reliability Engineering preferred.
• 0–2 years experience in Electronics/Electrical Reliability (Bachelor’s degree required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver DFR work packages across multiple NPI and SE projects for Mobility product lines with high quality and meeting schedules.
• Identify and mitigate reliability risks under guidance and follow reliability sign-off process for NPIs.
• Perform warranty data analysis, forecasting, publish monthly warranty reports and drive problem solving for top warranty issues.
• Create/revise DFR deliverables such as Reliability goal setting, Reliability Predictions, FMEA, Accelerated Life Test, RDT, Reliability Growth, FRACAS for NPIs/VAVE projects and/or existing product improvements under supervision.
• Work with cross-functional and global reliability engineering teams to design reliability into NPIs and product improvements; identify and mitigate reliability risks under supervision.
• Plan milestones, execute milestones, conduct deliverables reviews, communicate with stakeholders and mentor on the job.
• Develop actuarial models library for eMobility products alongside warranty monitoring and forecasting.

Eaton India Innovation Center located in Pune, India has an opening for a Engineer-Reliability in Center for Reliability & Safety team.

This role is established for Mobility business of Eaton in Reliability & Safety COE team. The core responsibilities of this position are following:

• Responsible for delivering DFR work packages across multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining Engineering (SE) projects of Mobility product lines with high quality and meeting project schedules.
• Responsible to identify and mitigate reliability risks under guidance & follow reliability sign-off process for NPIs.
• Responsible for doing warranty data analysis, forecasting, publishing monthly warranty reports and driving problem solving for top warranty issues.

• Desired: Work experience in the Eletrical/Electronics systems preferably Power electronics(Inverter/Converters), Power systems, battery, inverters, protection circuits etc.
• Preferred: DFSS GB certified from reputed organization, Experience in safety/Reliablility assessment of E/E system
