At Boeing, The Digital Commerce Team is looking for an Associate QA Developer to join their team. The Digital Commerce Team is part of the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) group.

Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to interact with peers and customers. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Other qualities for this candidate are a positive attitude, self-motivated, the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities
  • Create formal test plans and test reports and ensures they have the correct approvals.
  • Coaches and mentors test team members the importance of testing.
  • Organizes and facilitates Test Readiness Review
  • Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning.
  • Provides test coverage reports/automates test cases percentage.
  • Ensures high quality deliverable is passed on to UAT phase for stakeholders testing.
  • Provides test evaluation summary report (test metrics) for the release.
  • Works with the Product Owner to confirm that the acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.
  • Raises any impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) they come across and approaches Scrum Masters/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a decision.
  • Collaborate with other team members on various aspects of development/integration testing etc. to get the feature working on is delivered with quality and on time.
  • Tests features developed by developers throughout sprints to ensure working software with high quality as per acceptance criteria defined is released as per committed team sprint objectives.
  • Plan how the features will be tested and should manage the test environments and be ready with the test data.
  • Understands requirements, they create automated test cases thereby ensuring regression testing is performed on a daily basis. Checks in code into the shared source code repository regularly without build errors.
  • Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium.
  • Design and write automated unit, integration and acceptance tests

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • At least 6 + years of relevant experience with 3 years in automation testing.
  • Experience in automation testing script development using Automation Testing tools like Selenium (or) QTP (Quick Test Professional) and experience on HP ALM or Devops, ETL Testing, SQL
  • Experience of using Zephyr Scale
  • Programming experience using: Java, Spring Framework, Restful APIs, SOAP, Angular 4, TypeScript / Microservices, Swagger, Groovy, JavaScript / ECMA Script 6 is a plus
  • Experience in Load Testing, Stress Testing, Stability testing, Reliability testing
  • Hands on Performance testing tools like HP Performance Tester (LoadRunner), WebLOAD
  • Should have worked with test management tools - like ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) or other equivalent test management tools
  • Working experience in at least 2 of the following Technologies: CSS, HTML5, XML, DTD, XSLT
  • Relevant work experience into manual testing. Data comparison, Data Verification and Validation using Excel
  • Experience working in an Agile environment; Working knowledge of Agile principles, methods, and frameworks (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Experience in DevOps/Cloud Services, continuous integration and deployment frameworks a plus
  • Experience with collaboration, configuration control, integration and testing tools (Jira, Git, Maven, Selenium)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Technical background and an understanding of the Aerospace industry (good to have, not mandatory)
Typical Education & Experience
  • Typically, 4-8 years related work experience or Relevant military experience. advanced degree (eg. Bachelor,Master, etc), preferred, but not required.
