Role:
To execute all the aspects of programs designed to support startups at both early & scale up stages. Responsible for program operations, cultivating relationship, sourcing startups, and delivering the best possible program experience for founders, entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.E / MBA / Graduation in Engineering/Science/Technology and Management. Candidate should have understanding of technology and business. Fair understanding about emerging technologies.
- Experience of 3-4 years with startups and corporates in Startup Accelerator/ Business Incubator/ Startup Ecosystem.
- Strong interest around startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem, technology trends, and entrepreneurial challenges.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with corporates, startups, investors, Government, media and other major stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
- Partnerships building: With various corporates to be onboarded as collaborators for the program(s).
- Project management: Ensure that the program is going according to plan by actively tracking activities and managing stakeholder expectations.
- IITB Research & Innovation Support: Monitor and track research and innovation activities within the institute and align these activities with programs.
- Coordination: Interact and monitor the progress of startups in the cohort on a regular basis, understand their requirements and provide support when required.
- Communication and Reporting: Share regular updates about the program with key stake holders. Track & Manage budgets and expenses allocated to the program.
- Event management: Organize training sessions and demo days.
- Support the program with sourcing startups when applicable and appropriate for the program.
- Application screening: Assist in screening startup applications, assess technology novelty, business potential, competition etc.
- Participate actively in startup events to identify deep tech startups with growth potential.
- Conduct research in building sectoral thesis for programs, through secondary and primary sources.
- Promote program(s) and create visibility amongst stakeholders involved in technology commercialization, entrepreneurship & economic development.
- Facilitate access to mentor networks & funding opportunities for startups.
