The Associate Professor - FMT is responsible for teaching Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, supervising practical and medico-legal training, supporting forensic investigations, conducting research, mentoring students and junior faculty, and contributing to academic development.

• Teach Forensic Medicine and Toxicology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, seminars, and forensic demonstrations.
• Supervise students during medico-legal examinations and forensic training.
• Assist in post-mortem and autopsy activities as authorized.
• Support medico-legal documentation and report preparation.
• Guide students in forensic research projects and postgraduate dissertations.
• Conduct seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, and academic presentations.
• Participate in examinations and evaluate student performance.
• Support forensic toxicology laboratory activities and investigations.
• Guide appropriate handling, preservation, and documentation of forensic evidence.
• Prepare academic presentations, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
• Maintain accurate academic, medico-legal, and departmental records.
• Participate in research projects and scientific publications.
• Mentor Assistant Professors, residents, and medical students.
