We are seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) to work closely with the Compliance & Risk Product Manager across two strategic areas:
Compliance Product
Data Security & Governance
This is a hands‑on role focused on building scalable, auditable, and secure product systems that support regulatory compliance and internal risk operations, while ensuring minimal friction to business and users.
The role requires strong analytical thinking, comfort with complex workflows, and the ability to work deeply with data and stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Legal, Ops, and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Product
- Contribute to the design and execution of:
- KYC, EDD, and periodic review workflows
- Transaction monitoring and screening systems
- Compliance dashboards and internal admin tools
- Alert review, escalation, and closure workflows
- Audit trails and regulator‑ready reporting
- Geo‑specific compliance enforcement and regulatory changes across user journeys
- Translate regulatory and policy requirements into clear product requirements and workflows.
- Support product initiatives around:
- Role‑based access control (RBAC) for internal tools
- Data access controls, approvals, and visibility rules
- Audit logs for sensitive data access and actions
- Data retention, masking, and deletion policies
- Governance of analytics, dashboards, and internal reporting systems
- Ensure data access and usage is secure, auditable, and compliant with internal and external requirements.
Data & Analytics (Mandatory)
- Use SQL regularly to:
- Investigate compliance and risk issues
- Validate product behavior and data correctness
- Monitor compliance and risk metrics
- Support audits and regulatory requests
- Work closely with data teams to define events, tables, and dashboards.
- Use data to drive decision‑making and validate outcomes.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Convert regulatory and risk requirements into PRDs, user stories, and workflows
Define edge cases, failure scenarios, and audit requirements
Work closely with engineering teams during design, development, and rollout
Validate releases using data and post‑launch monitoring
Support internal stakeholders during audits and investigations
Balance compliance rigor with business and user experience needs
Requirements
Must Have
- 2–3 years of experience as APM, Product Analyst, or Business Analyst
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly with data
- Experience building or supporting internal tools or complex systems
- High attention to detail and structured problem‑solving skills
- Comfort working in regulated, high‑risk, or high‑compliance environments
Good to Have
- Experience in fintech, crypto, payments, or financial services
- Exposure to Compliance, Risk, Fraud, AML, or Data Governance
- Experience with dashboards, monitoring systems, or admin panels
- Familiarity with audits, regulatory processes, or policy implementation
