Job summary

Vegapay Technologies Private Limited seeks an Associate Director – Product to lead strategy and execution across our LOS and LMS for banks, NBFCs, and fintechs. You will own the end-to-end lending lifecycle—from application and underwriting to disbursement and servicing.

You will build configurable, multi-tenant platforms, mentor product teams, and partner with customers and engineering to deliver scalable solutions. 8+ years in lending or fintech product management is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in lending, banking technology, or fintech.
• Hands-on experience building or managing LOS and LMS platforms for banks, NBFCs, or fintechs.
• Deep understanding of the lending lifecycle: underwriting, credit decisioning, loan accounting, disbursement, repayment schedules, and collections.
• Experience building configurable, multi-tenant B2B platforms for financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of lending integrations, APIs, data models, and system workflows.
• Experience managing enterprise stakeholders and driving complex product implementations.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience across multiple lending products (personal, business, secured, digital lending).
• Understanding RBI regulations, digital lending guidelines, NPA classification, provisioning and lending compliance.
• Familiarity with bureau integrations, e-KYC, bank statement analysis, NACH/e-mandates, payment systems, and ledger integrations.

• Lead Product Teams: Mentor PMs and shape the lending product roadmap.
• Build high-impact user experiences and own features end-to-end, from UI to production.

Job description

We are looking for an Associate Director – Product to lead product strategy and execution across our Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS). You will own the end-to-end lending lifecycle, from loan application and underwriting to disbursement, servicing, repayments, collections, and closure.

This role requires deep lending domain expertise, strong platform thinking, and the ability to work with financial institutions to build scalable, configurable lending solutions.

The Hats You Will Wear

• Own Product Strategy: Define the vision, roadmap, and priorities for LOS and LMS, aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
• Build Lending Workflows: Design and evolve capabilities across loan origination, credit assessment, underwriting, sanctioning, documentation, disbursement, servicing, repayments, collections, and closure.
• Drive Platform Configurability: Build reusable workflows, rules, product configurations, repayment schedules, interest calculations, fee structures, and loan lifecycle capabilities across lending products.
• Partner with Customers: Work closely with banks, NBFCs, and fintechs to understand lending requirements and translate them into scalable product capabilities.
• Drive Execution: Collaborate with engineering, design, risk, compliance, and implementation teams to deliver products from discovery through launch and scale.
• Own Product Outcomes: Define and track metrics around implementation timelines, operational efficiency, adoption, loan servicing accuracy, and platform reliability.
• Lead Product Teams: Mentor product managers, establish strong product practices, and collaborate with leadership to shape the lending product roadmap.

The Perfect Fit

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with significant experience in lending, banking technology, or fintech.
• Hands-on experience building or managing LOS and LMS platforms for banks, NBFCs, or fintechs.
• Strong understanding of the lending lifecycle, including underwriting, credit decisioning, loan accounting, disbursement, repayment schedules, interest computation, delinquency, collections, and loan closure.
• Experience building configurable, multi-tenant B2B platforms for financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of lending integrations, APIs, data models, and system workflows.
• Experience managing enterprise stakeholders and driving complex product implementations.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Your Edge Over the Rest

• Experience across multiple lending products, including personal loans, business loans, secured lending, and digital lending.
• Understanding of RBI regulations, digital lending guidelines, NPA classification, provisioning, and applicable lending compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with bureau integrations, e-KYC, bank statement analysis, NACH/e-mandates, payment systems, and accounting or general ledger integrations.
• Experience leading product teams and scaling products from 0 to 1 and 1 to N.
