Job summary

OLX India is seeking a data-focused analyst to uncover patterns from the marketplace data. You will pull data via SQL, build dashboards, and enable cross-functional teams to access insights that drive product decisions.

You will design and run A/B tests, map user journeys, identify funnels, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that influence prioritization and strategy across the product teams.

About the role:

• You will take raw data from OLX India's platform and uncover patterns that drive product decisions, focusing on how users move through the marketplace and where they engage most.
• Your work involves setting up SQL queries to extract relevant datasets, building dashboards that teams across the company can access, and helping stakeholders understand what the numbers mean.
• You'll run controlled experiments using A/B testing frameworks to validate hypotheses before the company invests in major feature changes.
• Part of your day will be spent turning analytical findings into clear recommendations that shape product strategy and influence how teams prioritize their work.

What we're looking for:

• Comfort writing SQL queries to pull and manipulate data from databases.
• Hands-on experience building or working with product analytics tools and creating dashboards that others depend on.
• Knowledge of how to map user journeys through a product, identify funnels where people drop off, and design tests that measure impact.
• Ability to look at a dataset and ask the right questions, then follow the answers wherever they lead.
• A drive to own projects from start to finish without needing constant direction, paired with genuine curiosity about how users behave and why.
• Strong grasp of analytical thinking and the logical framework needed to solve complex business problems with data.
