Job summary

Bain & Company in Delhi is seeking a results-driven professional for the Vector CoE within the BCN. You will support technology diagnostics, analytics, and automation opportunities for Bain clients, working with case teams and client stakeholders.

You will develop knowledge across diagnostics, contribute to project planning, and help deliver high-quality client-ready outputs while applying Lean and Six Sigma thinking and advanced analytic tools.

WHO YOU LL WORK WITH

This role is based in the Vector Center of Excellence (Vector CoE), part of Bain s broader Data & Technology umbrella within the BCN. The Vector CoE provides specialized support on Tech Strategy, Transformation, and Roadmap projects for Bain clients across industries. The Vector CoE team acts as the analytical and delivery arm of Bain s Vector Practice, providing expertise in:

• Building and deploying Enterprise Technology diagnostics
• Delivering core technology products for consulting teams
• Working directly with clients to support technology transformations
• Integrating new and emerging technologies such as AI and automation into diagnostics

WHAT YOU LL DO

• Build expertise on existing tools to guide case teams appropriately and help develop newer solutions for the Vector Practice
• Quickly develop knowledge on different diagnostics/ solutions within Bain Vector team as well as the clients managed by own team, helping them cater to multiple stakeholders on a daily basis
• Work under the guidance of a Project Leader / Team Manager, playing a key role in driving the team s overall answer and final materials, client communication, work planning, and team management
• Provide thought leadership and sound business judgment to drive innovation, product ideation and development
• Display strong execution ability along with the ability to pressure-test insights and conduct thorough validation and sense checks
• Understand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectations
• Ensure timely, high quality, zero-defect delivery, analysis and output produced by the analysts/associates
• Ability to deliver client-ready outputs with actionable, implementable solutions
• Display excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, driving teams toward practical and pragmatic solutions
• Deliver clear and professional presentations to the team/team leaders/managers/ clients

ABOUT YOU

• Candidates should be graduates / post-graduates with strong academic record
• Work experience range in case highest qualification is undergraduate studies - 2-5 years of relevant experience in a professional services context

• Ideal candidates have a Strong consulting mindset with exposure to client-facing engagements across technology modernization, tech strategy, process excellence and automation, tech cost optimization, and application portfolio rationalization
• Proven ability to map and analyze current-state business processes end-to-end - identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities - and lead redesign efforts to define optimized, scalable future-state workflows
• Skilled at conducting process diagnostics and developing opportunity assessment frameworks to quantify potential impact (e.g., effort-impact grids, time savings, error reduction, scalability)
• Demonstrated track record of developing process documentation, SOPs, playbooks, and reusable automation frameworks that standardize operations and enable deployment across projects and functions
• Proficient in process mapping and mining tools (e.g., Celonis, Apromore, Signavio, Power Automate Process Mining, ARIS) to capture as-is workflows and pinpoint automation candidates
• Comfortable performing root cause analysis and applying Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to define improvement levers; adept at partnering with stakeholders to establish KPIs and performance metrics for continuous process improvement
• Skilled in developing business cases for automation and process optimization initiatives, including governance frameworks covering opportunity evaluation, prioritization, and ROI tracking
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automation solutions using low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism, Alteryx) and collaborating with technology teams to integrate automation workflows into existing data systems and knowledge platforms
• Adept at designing and executing primary research initiatives (expert interviews, practitioner surveys, case-based synthesis) to generate proprietary insights that set Bains perspective apart in the market
• Experience in translating complex technical and strategic content into sharp, senior-ready narratives that drive decision-making at the C-suite and board level
• Display and apply deep understanding of enterprise technology domains - including AI strategy, cloud platforms, data architecture, application modernization, and digital product development - to pressure-test the rigor, relevance, and differentiation of every asset produced
• Have a good hold over Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx and other analytical tools
• Possess advanced numerical and modeling skills, with a strong focus on maintaining high data quality standards
• Be good with breaking business objectives into smaller tasks and building project plans
• Possess excellent analytic, communication, and team player skills with ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• You ll help design and deploy scalable technology solutions, leveraging advanced LLMs, and implement autonomous agents to drive measurable business value
