Job summary

Saks Global is seeking an Associate, Payroll Processing in Bengaluru to handle payroll activities, ensure policy adherence, and support month-end close with accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of Workday payroll, 2–4 years in corporate finance, and experience with US payroll, preferably within retail and North America markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance (Full-time) is required.
• 2–4 years of corporate finance experience, with preference for retail and NA payroll exposure.
• Experience with Workday payroll platform.
• US/Canada payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Payroll and HR policies, internal control and audit requirements, and service standards.
• Complete period end close activities per close schedule.
• Review accounting entries / month end reconciliations as part of period end close.
• Manage payroll inquiries via tickets and mailboxes.

What This Position Is All About

• Perform state/federal tax calculations & payments, reports, month-end journals, and GL reconciliations
• Day-to-day contact with the onshore payroll teams for payroll processing activities

• Aptitude to learn concepts and new tasks quickly

You Also Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance (Full-time)
• Financial aptitude with minimum 2-4 years of work experience in Corporate Finance with MNCs/GICs, with preference to Retail industry and minimum 6 months experience with North American payroll
• Experience Workday payroll platform
• Prior experience in US/Canada payroll will be preferred

As The Associate, Payroll Processing, You Will
