Job summary

Williams-Sonoma India Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram seeks an Associate Merchandiser to support the Merchandising team with sampling, order processing, reporting, and production tracking. You will coordinate with QA and US-based teams to ensure vendor and factory needs are met.

Key duties include handling sample development follow-ups, onboarding new vendors, preparing vendor setup documents, and organizing development trips and inspections across factories.

Qualifications

• Product Development: Follow-up on T&A of sample development. Ensure key dates are met.
• Vendor and Order processing: Facilitate onboarding of new vendors; prepare documents for vendor setup; order processing.
• Sourcing: Assist merchandising team in sourcing of new vendors when necessary.
• Development Trips: Arrange necessary documents and samples for US team's visit.
• Liaise with QA team: Arrange inspection schedule across factories.

The Associate Merchandiser is responsible for assisting the Merchandising team in their daily merchandising activities including sampling, order processing, reporting and production tracking. They work in conjunction with WSI India QA to support the US based team and factory needs.

Description

1. Product Development:

• Follow-up on T & A of sample development. Ensurekey dates are met
• Prepare weeklyprogress reports to US based team
• Follow-up on program approvalsamples with factories
• Notify Merchandise Managerof any majorissues during development cycle.
• Average sample dispatch / co-ordination

2. Vendorand Order processing

• Facilitate On-boarding of new vendors
• Prepare necessary documents for vendor set up
• Order processing

4. Sourcing

• Assist the merchandising team insourcing newvendors when necessary.

5. Development Trips

• Arrange necessary documents and samples for US team's visit

6. Liaise with QA team

• Arrange inspection schedule across factories
