Job summary

WSP India is seeking a senior Building Services Leader to define and implement technical strategies across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection for complex projects.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery, ensure quality, maintain timelines and budgets, and drive sustainable design choices while leading a diverse team of engineers and collaborating with architects, contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in building services engineering (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
• Proven project team and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of sustainability standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in mechanical design software (HAP, Hevacomp), IES and project management tools. Fully conversant with technical software, IES-Part L, H&C Load, SAP, Whole Life Carbon.

• The applicant should have adequate knowledge on various types of building projects.

Desired Skills

• Excellent working knowledge of BS, HTM, NBC, NFPA and other local codes and good working knowledge of UK codes would be advantageous.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in building services, with at least 5 years in a leading major project delivery.

• Chartered Engineering Status with the UK Engineering Council.
