Job summary

DXC Technology in Haryana, India is seeking a skilled insurance solution configurator to translate business requirements into DXC Assure/Xuber configurations. You will design and update complex solution configurations, including underwriting, claims, and business rules, and demonstrate product solutions to clients.

You will work with client SMEs and DXC teams through the full project life cycle, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to project estimates.

Qualifications

• Insurance domain experience including Lloyds/Catastrophic markets.
• Experience configuring web-based Policy Administration/Claims systems.
• Strong SQL skills: queries, views, stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Customer SMEs to elicit requirements and solution objectives.
• Translate requirements into DXC Assure/Xuber configurations and workflows.
• Configure ratings, underwriting, claims, and business rules within DXC tools.
• Prepare technical and functional solution documentation and estimates.
• Demonstrate DXC Assure/Xuber product solutions to clients in engagements.

Job Description:Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Engage with Customer SME’s in workshops or other methods of interaction to elicit business requirements and solution objectives.Liaise with client SME’s on engagements from a functional / technical delivery perspectiveTranslate detailed business requirements into working software solutions using DXC Assure/Xuber software products and configuration tools.Ability to support project team members and customer SME’s on limitations and opportunities for perfect fit customer solutions based on knowledge of DXC Assure/Xuber software ProductsAdhere to and contribute to the enhancement of best practice design and configuration of DXC Assure/Xuber software productsCreate and update complex solution configuration on the DXC Assure/Xuber Software products including configuration of the following:Rating algorithms and referral processingUnderwriting, Claims and business rulesBusiness Process workflow rulesStored procedures, database triggers, indexes, and other database artefactsReference data creation and maintenanceProduct building including the implementation of dynamic logic, validations & workflow rulesEnquiries / Data Extraction / Reports / DocumentsWork collaboratively with the client and DXC project teams to drive delivery of the agreed solutionSoftware configuration / Solution testing / validation / issue resolutionConfidently demonstrate DXC Assure/Xuber product solutions in new client engagementsParticipate in internal quality reviews of solution delivery processesPrepare functional and technical solution documentationProvide inputs to project work estimatesContribute to the process of transitioning completed projects into supportEssential Skills/Qualifications:Insurance domain expertise – Lloyds and Company market knowledge preferably with experience of Broker, Carrier, Syndicate and MGA operationsInsurance system knowledge covering underwriting, claims, accounts, and re-insuranceExperienced in the configuration of web-based Policy Administration / Claims SystemsStrong SQL skills including the ability to construct SQL queries, views, triggers and stored proceduresKnowledge of on premise and cloud-based solutionsKnowledge in the use of SOAP & REST based API’sA detailed understanding of the full project life cycleHave demonstrated a working knowledge of the following concepts/skills:Agile / Scrum / WaterfallProcess Mapping (current and future state)Data flow diagrams (current and future state)Entity relationship mappingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in working to strict deadlines, both individually and as part of a team.A high level of attention to detail with strong documentation skills Desirable Skills/Qualifications:Experience / knowledge of configuring DXC Assure/Xuber Software productsExperience of projects delivering Cloud based managed service solutionsKnowledge of XML, XSLT, JSONPrepared to travel when requiredAbility to work flexible hours as required - connecting and collaborating with colleagues in different time zonesAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
