Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a senior software leader to guide a team of engineers in building software products and solutions. You will provide guidance, code reviews, and technical support to ensure quality delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, defining requirements, mentoring teammates, contributing to engineering strategy, managing tasks, timelines and risks, and fostering innovation and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar leadership/mentoring role.
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Some prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
