Job summary

At Bunge, an Associate Manager - Middle Office is sought to lead daily risk positions, MTM and PnL reporting, and intercompany reconciliations across SAP and One Stream in a demanding agribusiness environment. The role requires close collaboration with FP/Controller teams and global stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have 2-3 years in a similar role, strong analytical skills, and exposure to SAP, MTM concepts, and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily risk positions and explain variances.
• Provide weekly status updates to the reporting manager on futures postings and confirmations.
• Post futures/options in SAP based on exchange trades.
• Prepare daily MTM reconciliations for futures/options.
• Prepare daily PnL based on market movements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts in One Stream.
• Review and prepare various risk reports for senior leadership.
• Conduct MTM calculations at month-end.
• Maintain trackers for daily, weekly and monthly activities.
• Post MTM in SAP weekly and at month-end.
• Present monthly MTM issues to FP/Controller.
• Reconcile intercompany MTM with other Bunge entities at month-end.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
• Maintain internal finance controls and company policies.
• Prepare MTM adjustments and coordinate with Trade accountants.
• Identify and resolve mismatches in intercompany balances.
• Prepare and update SOPs as processes evolve.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and respond to queries.
• Participate in testing for upcoming projects.

Role Purpose Statement

• Perform daily risk positions and explaining the variance.
• Weekly status update to reporting manager related to Future posting & confirmations.
• Posting of Future/Option in SAP based on the trade happened in exchange.
• Preparing the daily reconciliation of Unrealized/realized MTM on Futures/options.
• Preparing the daily PnL based on the market price movements.
• Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts in One Stream.
• Review & preparing different types of risk reports, e.g. Freight exposure etc. for senior leadership.
• Perform the MTM calculation on month end.
• Updation of tracker related to daily, weekly and monthly activities.
• Posting the MTM in SAP on weekly / Month end.
• Presentation of monthly MTM issues to FP/ Controller on monthly basis.
• Responsible for reconciling the Intercompany MTM with other Bunge entities on month end.
• Complying with Sarbanes Oxley Standards.
• Ensure the internal finance controls, procedures in place and in compliance with company policies.
• Preparing the MTM adjustments and sharing with Trade accountants to post.
• Identify & resolve mismatches in IC balances with counterparties.
• SOP Preparing and updating as per current process time to time.
• Liaising with auditors (Internal and external) and responding to their queries.

Technical

• Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred.
• Minimum Education Qualification – C.A. / CMA / FRM / MBA will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of concepts and procedures related to Mark to Market, Options, Futures, Hedging, Intercompany and Risk Positions.
• Ability to provide high quality level of customer service for MTM, Intercompany and other reporting activities.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and deliver high quality output under time pressure.

Education & Experience

• 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role.
