Land Acquisition

Complete documentation for preliminary notifications under the Land Acquisition Act, 2013, and draft proposals for notification under the Coal Bearing Areas Act, 1957. Undertake land acquisition under relevant acts and regulations, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. Ensure the timely possession of land from title holders after compensation payment. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing land acquisition and R&R activities.

Private Land Acquisition For Specific Projects
  • Acquire private land for mine projects, including examining compensation claims and preparing award sheets.
  • Disburse compensation to land owners and prepare necessary affidavits and receipts for documentation.
  • Manage the transfer and mutation of private lands, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Record Management
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all official correspondence and land records to ensure transparency and accountability, facilitating easy access to essential information for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare draft letters for official correspondence with government departments regarding land acquisition, to facilitate effective communication and streamlined approval processes.
  • Maintain accurate record‑keeping and documentation of all land‑related activities and transactions.
Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) Planning and Implementation
  • Execute R&R plans as directed by competent authorities, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Complete the land acquisition process for R&R purposes, including site demarcation and pillar installation.
  • Address grievances of project‑affected individuals and ensure timely payments and employment opportunities for eligible family members.
Stakeholder Management
  • Manage relations with local village leaders to minimize disturbances and facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Assist in liaisoning with government officials at various levels for necessary approvals and coordination related to mining projects.
Digital Process Efficiency
  • Utilize digital tools to manage day‑to‑day land acquisition and reclamation activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of site‑level tasks.
  • Implement digital systems for tracking and reporting on project milestones, resource usage, and compliance with site‑specific regulations.
