Purpose/Objective
To manage and execute electrical engineering activities for Greenfield/Brownfield Thermal Power Plant projects, ensuring timely completion of engineering, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and synchronization activities while adhering to safety, quality, and project schedules
Key Responsibilities of Role
- Key Responsibilities Project Execution - Execute electrical systems installation and commissioning activities for thermal power projects.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Review project drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering documents.
- Electrical Engineering - Manage design reviews and installation of: - Generator & Generator Transformer (GT) - Unit Auxiliary Transformers (UAT) - Station Auxiliary Transformers (SAT) - Switchyard equipment (220kV/400kV/765kV) - GIS/AIS substations - HT/LT switchgear - Bus Ducts - Power & Control Cables - UPS, Battery Chargers & DC Systems - Illumination Systems - Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems - Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance with relevant standards and codes.
- Supervise erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers for troubleshooting and defect rectification.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications and Experience Dip / BE, B. Tech in Electrical.
