Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced analytics engineering and reporting leader to guide the analytics engineering and reporting capability within Marketing Operations. You will manage a team of data, reporting, and visualization analysts to deliver reliable datasets, automated dashboards, and business-ready reporting solutions for global clients.

The role requires 10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in analytics delivery leadership, strong SQL, data modelling, and hands-on BI platform

• Strong SQL, data modelling, ETL/ELT, data transformation, validation, and reporting data preparation.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern analytics engineering and reporting strategy across client engagements, including data models, dashboard standards, KPI frameworks, reporting templates, and automation approach.
• Lead a team of analytics engineering, reporting, and visualization professionals, providing direction, quality review, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee the design, build, automation, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards, scorecards, recurring reports, executive reporting packs, and reusable reporting assets.
• Design and oversee analytics-ready datasets, semantic layers, reporting tables, data extracts, and dashboard data models.
• Partner with campaign analytics, audience segmentation, social analytics, digital analytics, platform, and client teams to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, access control, and compliance requirements are followed across analytics data and reporting processes.

You will lead the Analytics Engineering and Reporting & Visualization capability within Accenture Marketing Operations, managing a team of data, reporting, and visualization analysts to deliver reliable, analytics-ready datasets, automated dashboards, and business-ready reporting solutions for global clients.

• Total 9plus years of experience, with 5plus years in analytics engineering, BI, reporting, visualization, data operations, or analytics delivery leadership.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modelling, ETL,ELT concepts, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting data preparation.
• Deep hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI platforms.

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of data warehouse, data lake, relational database, semantic layer, and dimensional modelling concepts.
• Experience designing and managing analytics-ready datasets, dashboard data models, reporting tables, scorecards, and reusable BI assets.
• Strong knowledge of KPI frameworks, dashboard design principles, report automation, data visualisation best practices, and self-service BI governance.
• Ability to review technical work across SQL queries, data models, dashboard logic, refresh processes, and reporting outputs.

• Partner with campaign analytics, audience segmentation, social analytics, digital analytics, platform, and client teams to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
• Ensure source-to-target reconciliation, data validation, completeness checks, refresh monitoring, KPI accuracy, and exception handling across reporting outputs.
• Monitor scheduled jobs, data refreshes, reporting datasets, and pipeline dependencies; ensure issues are documented and escalated within agreed SLA timelines.
• Review and optimize SQL logic, data models, dashboard performance, and reporting datasets for accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Drive standardization of reporting definitions, data visualization, best practices, dashboard governance, documentation and self-service BI adoption.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting effort through automation, reusable templates, governed datasets, and scalable reporting processes.
• Present reporting output, performance narratives, data quality issues, and improvement recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, access control, and compliance requirements are followed across analytics data and reporting processes.
