Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a Compliance Analyst to strengthen the second line of defense within its financial services operations in Bengaluru. The role involves deepening knowledge of core policies such as Personal Account Dealing, Conflicts of Interest, and Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality, and providing practical guidance across functions.

The position requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and policy

Qualifications

  • Two to five years of demonstrable experience in Financial Services compliance or risk.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees across all Functions.
  • Strong time management, prioritisation and organization skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 tools and relevant documentation.
  • Compliance certification or ongoing project management training is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of central compliance policies and advise employees.
  • Undertake investigations of policy/process breaches.
  • Deliver training across policy areas.
  • Monitor controls and support MI reporting (MetricStream).
  • Respond to queries and manage team Inbox; participate in bi-weekly calls.
  • Assist in Annual Compliance Certification process and breach handling.
  • Update support tools with guides and FAQs for PAD, COI, GE&H.
  • Support People Leader on ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with vendor support to enhance CCS configurations.

Job description

ROLE
  • Develop excellent working knowledge of key Central Compliance policies: Personal Account Dealing, Conflicts of Interest, and Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality.
  • Provide advice and guidance in relation to key policies to employees/stakeholders where necessary
  • Undertake investigations of compliance policy/process breaches
  • Deliver training across policy areas
  • Undertake control/monitoring tasks in relation to above policy areas and support Management Information reporting which may involve MetricStream
  • Respond to queries and manage the team Inbox through participation in bi-weekly calls to identify and tackle any high-risk items.
  • Work with the team head to deliver the Annual Compliance Certification including responding to queries and working through associated breaches
  • Update employee support tools such as User Guides, videos and other documentation e.g. FAQ for PAD, COI, GE&H.
  • Provide support to People Leader on ad-hoc tasks/projects.
  • Work closely with the vendor support to enhance/make config changes to the CCS.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Two to five years of demonstrable experience working within Financial Services in a Compliance / Risk / Advisory / other second-line-of-defence function.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees across all Functions including the Business.
  • Time management, prioritisation, and organization skills; ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver to deadlines.
  • Technologically proficient in the use of MS Office 365 suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Compliance certification/qualification and/or project management skills or be working towards one.
