Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a Cluster Manager - IPQA - I&W Quality in Madhya Pradesh to lead the IPQA team, drive health and safety compliance, and push continuous improvement in production quality.

The role requires oversight of audits, implementing quality control systems, and achieving operational excellence through EMS/IMS certifications and MES deployment across ingot and wafer processes.

Qualifications

• Data analytics and reporting for manufacturing.
• Metrology techniques applicable to solar manufacturing.
• Non-destructive inspection, testing and evaluation (NDI/ NDT/ NDE).
• Quality assurance and control across IPS/IMS systems.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Semiconductor awareness relevant to wafer/ ingot production.
• Wafer surface inspection and characterization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety compliance across teams involved in ingot and wafer quality.
• Implement safety training programs and ensure quality processes meet health and safety regulations.
• Respond to VOC complaints with RCA and countermeasures; maintain <1 complaint/quarter.
• Aim to achieve IMS certification for MSTL plant; review and prepare documentation.
• Conduct IMS awareness and internal auditor certification training.
• Complete Stage-1 and Stage-2 IMS certification audits.
• Implement MES for product traceability with zero errors.
• Ensure smooth operation of the system.
• Initiate at least two Quality Circle activities annually.

Purpose/Objective

• "The Cluster Manager - IPQA - I&W Quality will be responsible for leading and managing the IPQA (In-Process Quality Assurance) team, ensuring health and safety compliance, driving customer satisfaction, achieving business excellence, and fostering continuous improvement in production quality.
• The role involves overseeing audits, implementing systems for quality control, and driving operational efficiency to meet both internal and external quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Health & Safety: - Oversee health and safety compliance across multiple teams involved in ingot and wafer quality.
• Implement safety training programs and ensure all quality processes adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Customer Satisfaction: - Respond promptly to Voice of Customer (VOC) complaints and ensure timely Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and countermeasures.
• Maintain fewer than one complaint per quarter.
• Business Excellence: - Achieve IMS certification for MSTL plant by reviewing and preparing documentation.
• Conduct IMS awareness and internal auditor certification training.
• Complete Stage-1 & Stage-2 IMS certification audits.
• Quality Control & System: - Implement the MES system for product traceability with zero errors.
• Ensure the smooth operation and proper functioning of the system.
• Continuous Improvement: - Initiate at least two Quality Circle activities every year to encourage continuous improvement within the organization.
