Job summary

PepsiCo in Hyderabad seeks a Senior BI Developer to lead BI delivery using Power BI as the primary platform. You will shape reporting requirements, build scalable data models, and ensure delivery and sustainment of reporting products.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams, ingest data from SAP BW/HANA and Microsoft Fabric, and implement a Medallion Architecture across the Azure data stack to deliver trusted insights for Supply Chain and Commercial domains.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Power BI reports and dashboards with DAX and semantic models.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric ingestion and integration.
• Experience integrating SAP BW/HANA and other data sources.
• ETL/ELT pipelines using a Medallion Architecture with data quality controls.
• SQL for data queries and validation; familiarity with Azure Data services.
• Domain experience in Supply Chain and Commercial contexts is preferred.

Overview

As part of the PGCS D&AI organisation, the role leads the delivery of Business Intelligence and Reporting products, with Power BI as the primary platform. The role partners with business and other technical teams to shape reporting requirements, define scalable data and semantic solutions, manage demand intake, and ensure successful build, delivery and sustainment of reporting product.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Data Ingestion & Integration – Microsoft Fabric data ingestion and integration, including SAP BW/HANA and other enterprise data sources.
• Data Transformation & Engineering – Developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, Dataflows and Notebooks to cleanse, transform and prepare data using a modern Medallion Architecture.
• Data Modelling – Designing performant dimensional models and Star Schemas, including fact/dimension structures, relationships and business‑ready semantic models.
• Power BI Visualisation – Developing intuitive, business-focused Power BI reports and dashboards, translating wireframes into effective visualisations and user experiences.

Qualifications

Skills Required

• Strong Power BI delivery experience — report and dashboard development, DAX, semantic models, performance optimisation and deployment practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric — ingestion and integration.
• Experience integrating SAP BW/HANA and other enterprise data sources into analytics and reporting platforms.
• ETL pipeline delivery on a Medallion Architecture, with an understanding of data quality, reconciliation and refresh management.
• SQL for querying, validation and data analysis; familiarity with the Azure Data & Analytics stack including Data Lake, Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Synapse and Databricks.
• Functional and technical data experience in Supply Chain and Commercial domains is preferred;

Experience Required

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics or Data Management, with significant hands‑on Power BI development.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports and analytical solutions for business users, working with cross‑functional business and technology teams.
