Job summary

RRD Global Delivery Centers is seeking an Associate for Japanese Language, BI & Analytics (BIA) to perform research in Japanese and English for internal clients, build financial models, and deliver company and industry analyses. The role requires JLPT N2+ proficiency and finance acumen, with 0–2 years experience.

You will work with advanced tools like Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Refinitiv. Responsibilities include preparing newsletters, translating financial content, and mentoring junior analysts

Qualifications

• Working hours: 6 AM to 3 PM.
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above).
• Experience with financial models in Excel or similar tools.

Role: Associate - Japanese Language, Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA)

What you’ll do in the role:

• Conduct comprehensive and accurate research in Japanese and English to create deliverables to internal clients
• Conduct comprehensive and accurate research to create deliverables to internal clients.
• Experience in information management, competitive intelligence, or sector research (TMT, Industrials/NRG, FIG, etc.)
• Awareness of and adept use of public information and proficiency with multiple proprietary third-party tools and databases
• Create company profiles, comparable and precedent transaction analyses, financial benchmarking, company and industry analysis reports, newsletters, earning summaries and providing research support
• Company Analysis – Analyzing specific company business operations, financial operations and operational KPIs
• Industry Analysis – Researching on industry and market overview
• Preparing newsletters on specific companies / industries
• Possess a thorough understanding of advanced modeling principles and construct or maintain financial models
• Conduct systematic data analysis and translate complex information into clear, accessible formats to facilitate informed decision-making
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and automation in business research and analytics to optimize research and analytics products
• Provide training to junior analysts, review work for accuracy, and collaborate with the team to oversee deliverables
• Translate and interpret Japanese language financial content (e.g., earnings releases, regulatory filings, and investor presentations) into English with high quality standard

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as balance sheet analysis, valuation methods, financial ratios
• Project Management with outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Client-focused with ability to anticipate needs, address clients’ expectations, effectively manage priorities and cooperate to achieve objectives
• Excellent analytical and writing skills to produce concise, structured, and insightful deliverables
• Technical know-how in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) with the ability to read, interpret, and summarize complex financial content
