Job summary

Maatrum Technologies is seeking an experienced real estate legal professional in India to draft Title Opinions and verification reports using the company platform. You will verify land and property documents, review ownership and encumbrances, and ensure timely delivery of accurate reports aligned with client policies.

The role requires 5+ years in land/property matters, strong knowledge of title verification, and the ability to resolve complex issues while communicating clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
• LLM from a reputed public university will be preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in land and real estate property matters.
• Strong knowledge of title verification, due diligence, and legal opinions.
• Experience with Banks, NBFCs, developers, law firms, or property services is preferred.
• Fluency in regional language read/write/speak is MUST.

Responsibilities

• Draft Title Opinions and Legal Verification Reports using Maatrum tech.
• Verify and analyze land and real estate property documents in detail.
• Review title, ownership, encumbrances, and related records.
• Understand client policies and ensure timely delivery of accurate reports.
• Address client queries with clear legal clarifications and solutions.
• Coordinate with Operations and Technology to improve turnaround time and workflows.
• Ensure reports meet client policies and internal quality standards.
• Identify potential title and legal issues and propose practical solutions.
• Support in-house Legal team on complex property-related issues.
• Ensure all reports are completed within defined TAT and quality parameters.
• Stay updated on applicable property laws, land records, and state regulations.

• Conduct detailed verification and analysis of land and real estate property documents.
• Review property title, ownership, encumbrances, legal documents, and other relevant property records.
• Understand client credit policies and legal requirements and ensure timely delivery of accurate reports.
• Address client queries and provide appropriate legal clarifications and practical solutions.
• Coordinate with Operations and Technology teams to improve Turnaround Time (TAT), streamline workflows, and enhance platform functionality.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of legal reports in line with client-specific policies and Maatrums internal quality standards.
• Identify potential title and legal issues and provide practical, proactive solutions.
• Support the in-house Legal team in resolving complex property-related legal issues and queries.
• Ensure all reports are completed within defined TAT and quality parameters.
• Stay updated on applicable property laws, land records, registration processes, and state-specific regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluency in reginal language is MUST Read, Write, and Speak.
