Job summary

K&S Partners in Gurgaon is seeking an Associate for its Litigation Team to support IP litigation matters. The role involves drafting pleadings, notices, affidavits, and written submissions, and managing trademark matters before District Courts and High Courts.

The ideal candidate will have 4–10 years of IP litigation experience with reputed firms in NCR, a law degree from a respected school, and a record of 5 internships (at least 2 in IP).

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of IP litigation experience with recognized IP firms in NCR.
• Experience in trademark litigation before District Courts and High Courts.
• Law degree from a reputed law school with a strong academic record.
• Minimum 5 internships during law school, with at least 2 in the IP domain.
• Publications in legal journals, industry publications, or reputable blogs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ambitious and client-focused.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Experience: 4 to 10 years of experience in IP litigation with recognized IP law firms and boutiques in NCR.
• Domain Focus: Demonstrated exposure to trademark litigation before District Courts and High Courts.
• Academics: Law graduate from a reputed law school with a consistent, strong academic record.
• Internship Record: Minimum 5 internships during law school, with at least 2 in the IP domain (preferably with leading IP firms).
• Publications: Authored or co-authored articles published in legal journals, industry publications, reputed blogs, newsletters, or similar platforms.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentable, polished, ambitious, and committed to building a long-term litigation practice.
