Job summary

Haworth International is seeking a design-focused professional to support the BENELUX & NESEE regions from Chennai. You will drive workspace concepts, prepare proposals, and coordinate with sales, dealers, and key accounts to deliver compelling frontend designs.

The role requires strong portfolio, budgeting acumen, and proficiency with 3D tools. You will travel internationally and collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong portfolio showing creativity and versatility across projects.
• Knowledge of budgeting and costing principles.
• Proficiency in Excel for quotations, budgeting and profitability calculations.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Proficiency in SketchUp, V-Ray, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of workplace/office environment design.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong presentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Assist and own assigned projects including workspace design development, product selection, costing, and customer presentations.
• Support sales in preparing competitive project proposals for opportunities and profitability.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify key accounts and dealer opportunities.
• Develop design concepts and presentations aligned with customer requirements and Haworth solutions.
• Coordinate with sales teams, dealers, and key accounts to ensure service delivery and satisfaction.
• Act as liaison between customers and internal teams for issue resolution and execution.
• Maintain knowledge of Haworth and competitors' offerings for design solutions.
• Utilize 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation software to convey design intent.
• Assist regional bid responses with design proposals aligned to account strategies.
• Work with visualization, customer service, finance, and other teams to ensure delivery.

Job Purpose

Support the BENELUX & NESEE sales organization by delivering design, costing, and presentation solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to business growth. Collaborate with sales teams, dealers, and key accounts to develop workspace design concepts, prepare project proposals, and support business development initiatives across the region.

• Assist and take ownership of assigned projects, including workspace design development, product selection, costing, and customer presentations.

• Support the sales organization in preparing competitive project proposals that maximize sales opportunities and profitability.

• Develop design concepts and presentations that align with customer requirements and Haworth solutions.

• Coordinate with sales teams, dealers, and key accounts to ensure consistent service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to support problem resolution and project execution.

• Maintain knowledge of Haworth and competitive product offerings to create effective workplace design solutions.

• Utilize digital design tools, including 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation software, to communicate design intent and project outcomes.

• Support regional bid responses by preparing design proposals that align with overall account strategies.

• Work closely with visualization, customer service, finance, and other internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design capability, and versatility across projects.

• Knowledge of project budgeting and costing principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including quotation preparation, budgeting, and profitability calculations.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Proficiency in SketchUp, V-Ray, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Basic understanding of workplace and office environment design.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong presentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and customer-focused mindset.
