Job summary

Clean Harbors India, the Global Capability Center for Clean Harbors, is seeking an Employee Care Team Associate – HR Shared Services to support US & Canada employees from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST. Willingness to work from office and stretch when required is expected.

The role handles benefits, payroll and HR requests, ensuring timely, compliant service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in records. This position offers growth within a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in HR administration.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and internal stakeholders who call in, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to benefits, payroll and other HR requests.
• Liaise with colleagues and navigate cross-disciplinary escalations to provide timely resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements and ensure compliance.
• Meet process SLAs/metrics, productivity and quality targets within timelines.
• Raise process-related issues with process excellence and team lead.
• Provide support in other HR Shared Services areas as needed.

Shift Timings: 05:30 PM – 02:30 AM IST. Willingness to work from office and stretch when business requires

Role Brief:

This is a role of an HRSS ECT Associate who will primarily be responsible for our Employee Care Contact Center Team supporting our US & Canada employees.

Job Description:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times


• Provide exceptional customer service to all our employees and internal stakeholders who call in, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to Benefits, Payroll & other category of requests


• Liaise with colleagues and navigate cross-discipline escalations to provide timely resolutions and support open communication amongst the organization


• Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements and always ensure compliance


• Meet process SLAs/ metrics, productivity and quality targets within the established timelines


• Raise process related issues/ concerns on time with process excellence and team lead


• Provide support in other HR Shared Services areas, such as benefits administration, employee data management, and employee record keeping, as needed

What will you bring in?

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR Administration


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization


• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism


• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS or other HR systems
