Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding, a leading logistics provider, invites applications for an Associate – Finance (P2P) at the DGFF GSC in Chennai. You will support procure-to-pay activities, including invoice and payment processing, query handling, scanning and indexing, and month-end close tasks.

The role offers exposure to a global network across multiple regions, with emphasis on accuracy, timely service, and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; logistics/industrial engineering/management advantageous.
• 0–3 years of experience in BPO or logistics.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good command of English (written and verbal); Spanish & Mandarin for some regions.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Detail oriented with good logical reasoning.
• Customer-centric attitude.

Responsibilities

• Understand station/country documentation requirements and ensure work aligns with SOPs.
• Meet department SLAs and KPIs per delivery guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality service through timely, accurate processing.

We are the captive Shared Service Provider for DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight (DGFF). We are an organization of more than 4,600 colleagues complemented by approximately 500 virtual FTE (i.e., bots applied in process automation). Our colleagues are based across six service delivery centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Chengdu, Manila, Bogota & Budapest. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional service within the Finance - Procure to Pay (P2P) Service line, supporting our DGFF regions and countries globally. The role will involve training to handle various activities including invoice processing, payment processing, query management, scanning and indexing, and managing month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities

• To understand the requirement of the station’s / country’s documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.
• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.
• Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bachelor´s degree. A degree in logistics, industrial engineering, management will be an advantage / Undergraduate degree (Only GSC MNL & BOG)
• 0 – 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain - Preferred
• Good knowledge in MS office
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal / For BOG & CTU – Spanish & Mandarin language skills.
• Exposure to working with Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERPs) - Preferred.
• Detail oriented
• Good logical reasoning skills
• High level of customer centricity
