Job summary

JPMorganChase & Co. in Bengaluru seeks an Associate - Entity Controller to oversee accounting and reporting for legal entities in the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance under US GAAP, with end-to-end close responsibilities.

The role requires CA/MBA/CFA/CMA and at least 6 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and collaboration with Finance Stakeholders. Opportunity to drive process improvements and work within GF&BM India center.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accounting & reporting for Legal entities in EMEA region (excl. UK) on monthly basis as per US GAAP including month-end close process, parent/child accounting, equity pick up, Capital Hedge, review of inter-entity breaks, and unnatural general ledger balance monitoring
• End to end ownership for month end close activities like Fx Trade out, Capital Hedge, EPU, etc.
• Quarterly regulatory reporting as per local GAAP for EMEA entities like Liquidity reporting, VAT return etc.
• Liasing with auditors and support Legal Entity Controllers for audit and related documentation.
• Supervise FR/FFIEC reporting, expense and revenue allocations, local regulatory submissions, and FX hedging.
• Daily monitoring and control of activities involving reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit weekly financial statements and liquidity reports for selected balance sheet items.
• Conduct quarterly P&L and balance sheet reporting, including onshore/offshore ratio-based analysis.
• Analyze legal entity and line of business results, including variance analysis, booking validation, and transfer pricing compliance.
• Partner with Financial Control, Tax, and other stakeholders on revenue allocation and transfer pricing updates, and work alongside regional controllers to resolve legal entity and line of business inconsistencies.
• Drive process transformation by leveraging advanced technology solutions and partnering with strategic technology development teams to achieve sustainable process improvements.

As an Entity Controller (LEC) within CIB, you are responsible for overseeing activities in legal entities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial results and statements. Job Responsibilities
