Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team in Bengaluru. You will handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and support for SAP S/4, ECC, SRM, PI/PO and HANA systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

The role requires deep SAP HANA knowledge, hands-on administration, and the ability to communicate status clearly with management. Experience with Solution Manager Monitoring, ChaRM, and cloud deployment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration, with at least 3 years of experience in SAP ERP and GRC.
• Deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture, deployment models, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA administration, including system installation, configuration, maintenance, and support.

Summary Of The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of SAP S/4, ECC, SRM, PI/PO and HANA systems. The candidate should have a deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture and experience in managing large-scale deployments.

About The Role

• Performing BASIS activities with hands on experience with application of support packs, installation of Add-ons, performance and application tuning, and application of OSS notes for ECC 6.0, SRM, BW, PI/PO and GRC.
• Knowledge on setting up Solution Manager Monitoring and ChaRM.
• Manage SAP systems and perform BASIS administration support activities
• Ability to perform System Copies and Client Copies for ECC Core, Business Warehouse etc.
• Hands‑on experience with designing and implementing landscape and infrastructure, capacity planning (sizing), high‑availability and disaster‑recovery, backup, storage systems, SAP upgrades, Operations System and Database setup and migration.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Fiori, SLT , WebDispatcher, SLD, TREX, and Java systems.
• Ensure through various means and techniques a 100% up time on productive SAP environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with management by providing status information in a clear and concise manner
• Good knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), including monitoring, alerting, health checks, and Change & Release Management (ChaRM) processes.
• Experience in designing and supporting SAP landscapes, including infrastructure planning, system sizing, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), backup strategies, and storage management. Familiar with OS/DB migrations and SAP system upgrade activities.
• Hands‑on experience working with SAP Fiori, SLT, Web Dispatcher, SLD, and SAP Java systems, including configuration and maintenance.
• Exposure to AI-driven monitoring and automation concepts in SAP operations (such as predictive alerting, anomaly detection, and automation tools) to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

About You

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
• Strong communication skills to work with other teams and stakeholders in the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with Cloud deployment is a plus.
• Certification in SAP HANA administration is preferred.
