Job summary

Eaton's PSS CoE is seeking energetic candidates with foundational knowledge of product stewardship to drive regulatory compliance for a broad Aero product portfolio. The role supports project implementation for REACH, RoHS, AD-DSL, ELV, CP-65, POP, and upcoming regulations, enabling release of compliant product portfolios across markets.

You will work with India and global teams, monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and continuously improve processes with digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Sustainability/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical/Electronics or Electricals with curiosity in product stewardship.
• Knowledge of product stewardship and relevant regulations (REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS, Prop65).
• Interest in collaborating with local/global teams on compliance data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain technical concepts.
• Desire to learn automation, digital tools, and continuous improvement methods.

Job description

Eaton’s PSS CoE is looking for energetic candidates with basic knowledge on product stewardship and can drive product compliance assessments for new and current products. This role entails project implementation support for product regulatory compliance for regulations like REACH, AD-DSL, ELV, RoHS, CP-65, POP and upcoming regulations for Eaton’s broad portfolio of Aero products. This work will help the Business to establish and release compliant product portfolio and continue Business in various markets.

• 1) Support Boyd Thermal business in local product development and engineering services to the Global engineering team in the field of product stewardship.
• 2) Study and understand customer requirements on product compliance and implement those into applicable projects.
• 3) Works closely with India and global cross-functional teams (project engineering, Quality, Plant Mfg., Supply chain, Sales, etc.)
• 4) Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide regular reports on development and support activities.
• 5) Demonstrate curiosity and energy in studying upcoming regulatory requirements and communicates the findings to the team.
• 6) Support continuous process improvements methods and adopt digital/automation tools to gain process efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors (with 0 – 1 year of experience) in Sustainability/Environmental science/Chemical/Mechanical/Electronics or Electricals engineering with curiosity and inquisitiveness in product stewardship in relevant industrial, vehicle product/process industry.

Skills:

• 1. Strong understanding on basics of engineering, science, and arithmetic concepts – material, weight, volume, density, mass, units, and measurement methods, etc.
• 2. Theoretical understanding of Product Stewardship and regulations like, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS & Prop65 and other applicable regulations and basic interpretation.
• 3 Energetic and willing to learn new areas and collaborating with local / global suppliers for compliance data related activities.
• 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts.
• 5. A flare for understanding of automation and Continuous improvement skills, dashboards, and digital skills is highly desirable.
