Eaton Group in India seeks a Design Engineer to perform design, simulations, and analysis of high-power power electronic circuits to meet customer-specific technical, cost, and market-related goals.

You will demonstrate expertise in DC-DC converters, inverters, and embedded controllers, with hands-on circuit simulation using LTSpice, PSpice, or similar tools. The role covers hardware lifecycle and EMI/EMC considerations.

Formación

• Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic design especially in Inverter and converters design
• Experience in full Hardware development lifecycle including requirements management, design, development & testing.
• Experience in designing analog & digital designs, microcontrollers, logic gates, buffers, memories, AC-DC, DC-DC converters & motor inverters.
• Knowledge of Si and Silicon Carbide (SiC) and GaN power semiconductors and their applications.
• Ability to integrate power electronic systems and troubleshoot to improve reliability.
• Ability to analyze analog & digital circuits for functions.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize and lead small tasks/projects; ensure activity execution and closure.
• Basic knowledge in EMC filter selection and magnetics.

What you’ll do:

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform design, simulations and do analysis of high power Power Electronic circuits to meet customer specific technical, cost and market related technology.

• Demonstrates the knowledge in Power electronics design especiall DC-DC converter and Inverter design, Embedded Controllers.
• Hands-on experience in Electronics Simulation tools like PSpIce and LTSpice Simulation or any other similar tool
• Basic knowledge of electronics components selection and operation
• Good in circuit level analysis like steady state and transient analysis
• Prepares schematics by using computer assisted engineering design software Spice
• Responsible for activity planning, execution and closing of assigned activities.
• Plans, Organizes, and leads smaller assigned tasks / projects
• Basic knowledge in EMC filter selection & magnetics

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s or Electronics or E&T C

Total relevant work experience: Tech/BE with 6 Months to 3 years

Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Electronics design Power converters and Inverters, Circuit Simulation, LTSpice Simulation.
• It would be good to be aware of Ansys simulation.

Required:

• Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic design especially in Inverter and converters design
• Experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development & testing.
• Experience in designing and implementing different analog & digital design, Microcontrollers, logic gates, buffers, memories, AC-DC, DC-DC converters & motor inverters for different applications, including the selection of switching devices, gate driver selection, modulation techniques and filter design.
• Knowledge of Si and Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) power semiconductors and their application in power electronics to improve efficiency and performance.
• Ability to integrate power electronic systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic systems, conducting failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Should be able to analyze the analog & digital Circuits for Functions.

Desired:

• Basic knowledge on PCB design guidelines & EMI/EMC.
• Strong knowledge in the design and development of electronics, both high power and low power, analog, digital & electronics.
• Strong knowledge on Electronics controller product lifecycle management within Aerospace.
• Strong knowledge in Power Converter design.
• Good working experience on simulations any of the tool Pspice, Matlab, Simulink, SiMetrix, PLECS.
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, passionate and goal-oriented individual.
