Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Associate Engineer – Manual Testing in Kochi to ensure software quality through manual testing practices. This role is ideal for junior candidates with a solid foundation in manual testing and graduation.

Qualifications

• Around 1 year hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Familiarity with Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Basic knowledge on API manual testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Exposure to test management tools like Jira, Xray, or TestLink is a plus.
• Basic understanding of cross‑browser and cross‑device testing.

• Perform Functional, UI, Regression, and Smoke testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the defect life cycle.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support release activities and maintain test documentation.
• Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and efficiency.

Strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving and logical thinking abilities. Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team environment.
