Job summary

Anlage Infotech in Bengaluru is seeking a senior professional to own the portfolio strategy for business license and tax registration services. You will drive KPIs, governance, and client satisfaction while guiding complex engagements and risk posture.

You will manage budgets, utilization, ROI, and financial data, lead US stakeholder relationships, and oversee audits and compliance. The role also focuses on transformation through automation and expanding services.

Qualifications

• Masters in Accounts or Finance preferred and professional certifications advantageous.
• Strong MS Office skills with analytical and advisory capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of US Direct/Indirect Tax compliance and multi-jurisdiction rules.
• Experience with Alteryx and macro automation to improve engagements.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio goals, KPIs, governance, and client satisfaction across engagements.
• Lead final client reviews, guide issue resolution and risk posture.
• Support go-to-market, M&A, and local teams to scope business license services.
• Prepare budgets, manage utilization, productivity, and cost optimization.

Role & Responsibilities

Portfolio Ownership & Strategy

• Own the Business License portfolio set goals, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and governance; ensure client satisfaction across engagements.
• Conduct final/Client-level reviews of complex engagements, guide issue resolution and risk posture.
• Assist the go-to-market, M&A, and local office teams to identify targets and scope for business license and registration services

Financial & Resource Management

• Prepare annual client budgets and staff budgets; manage utilization, productivity, and cost optimization.
• Oversee Budget vs Actuals; drive corrective actions and ROI on improvements.
• Analyze and manage the engagement financial data, including client billing.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain US stakeholder relationships; lead cadences and escalations; negotiate delivery improvements.
• Monitor transitions of new clients; define work plans and success criteria.

People Leadership

• Lead performance management, succession planning, hiring/onboarding,
• and building capability.
• Create an environment of open feedback and coaching, support career progressions.

Risk, Compliance & Audits

• Ensure firm-wide compliance standards; lead audits and remediate systemic issues; uphold information security.

Transformation & Growth

• Sponsor automation/analytics initiatives (Alteryx, Macros, AI); deliver measurable productivity and quality gains.
• Expand BL services - pull more work to KGS by building Stakeholder / client trust.

Mandatory technical & functional skills

• Highly proficient in MS Office; strong analytical and advisory skills.
• Deep technical proficiency in US Direct/Indirect Tax compliance; multi-jurisdiction rule expertise.
• Expertise in Indirect Tax applications and Alteryx to manage complex engagements.
• Financial planning, budgeting, and portfolio management skills.

• Second level / Final review of most complex engagement tasks related to US business license and tax registration

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Vision or process mapping software and strong technical awareness and basic knowledge of global indirect tax issues.
