Job summary

Sandoz is seeking an Associate Director, Quality Assurance, Technology to drive strategic technology partnerships for Quality Operations. The role ensures that Quality Tech solutions align with regulatory requirements and business goals, delivering scalable, compliant platforms.

You will oversee QMS roadmaps, vendor relations, and global technology initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to translate needs into actionable technology programs and value-driven results.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in Quality or GxP-regulated environments.
Experience with Quality platforms such as Veeva Quality/Veeva Vault and related systems.

Responsibilities

As Associate Director, Quality Assurance, Technology, you will serve as a strategic technology business partner for Quality Operations, ensuring that Quality Technology solutions enable business goals, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives. You will drive the alignment of Quality Management Systems, technology roadmaps, and stakeholder priorities to deliver scalable, compliant, and value-driven solutions across the organization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Establish strategic partnerships with Quality and Technical Operations stakeholders to align technology capabilities with business objectives.
Lead the Quality Technology portfolio, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, and delivery of initiatives supporting Quality Assurance capabilities.
Drive the development and execution of technology roadmaps for Quality Management Systems and related digital platforms.
Partner with business leaders to capture, assess, and prioritize demand, translating requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Act as the primary Technology partner for Quality Assurance, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology investments.
Oversee vendor relationships, solution lifecycle management, and delivery of high-quality services in regulated GxP environments.
Collaborate with global Technology teams to support budgeting, business architecture, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote an inclusive, high-performing environment while supporting capability building, digital transformation, and organizational change.

Key Performance Indicator

Successful delivery and adoption of standardized Quality Technology solutions that improve stakeholder satisfaction and support business strategy.

What You'll Bring to the Role

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

Experience & Skills

8+ years of experience working within Quality and GxP-regulated environments.

5+ years of experience supporting or managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Experience with enterprise Quality platforms such as Veeva Quality, Veeva Vault, or equivalent Quality systems.

Strong knowledge of GxP regulations, System Validation, Computer System Validation (CSV), and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders across regional and global organizations.

Proven success delivering technology solutions within regulated industries, preferably pharmaceuticals or life sciences.

Strong project, change management, and business relationship management capabilities.

Experience translating business requirements into technology strategies, roadmaps, and operational solutions.

Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic business partnering skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across complex global organizations.

Languages

Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Experience working in multinational pharmaceutical organizations with global Quality Operations responsibilities.

Certification or practical experience in Agile methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
