Job summary

Sandoz is seeking an Associate Director, Quality Assurance, Technology, to partner with Quality Operations and drive technology-enabled compliance and digital transformation. You will align Quality Management Systems, roadmaps, and stakeholder priorities to deliver scalable, compliant solutions across the organization.

The role requires extensive experience in GxP environments, QMS support, and proficiency with Quality platforms such as Veeva Quality or Vault.

• Bachelor's degree as stated in Essential Requirements.
• 8+ years of experience in Quality and GxP-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic partnerships with Quality and Technical Operations stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
• Lead the Quality Technology portfolio, prioritizing and delivering initiatives supporting QA capabilities.
• Drive technology roadmaps for Quality Management Systems and digital platforms.
• Capture, assess, and prioritize demand, translating requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Job Description

As Associate Director, Quality Assurance, Technology, you will serve as a strategic technology business partner for Quality Operations, ensuring that Quality Technology solutions enable business goals, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives. You will drive the alignment of Quality Management Systems, technology roadmaps, and stakeholder priorities to deliver scalable, compliant, and value-driven solutions across the organization.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Establish strategic partnerships with Quality and Technical Operations stakeholders to align technology capabilities with business objectives.
• Lead the Quality Technology portfolio, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, and delivery of initiatives supporting Quality Assurance capabilities.
• Drive the development and execution of technology roadmaps for Quality Management Systems and related digital platforms.
• Partner with business leaders to capture, assess, and prioritize demand, translating requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Act as the primary Technology partner for Quality Assurance, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology investments.
• Oversee vendor relationships, solution lifecycle management, and delivery of high-quality services in regulated GxP environments.
• Collaborate with global Technology teams to support budgeting, business architecture, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote an inclusive, high-performing environment while supporting capability building, digital transformation, and organizational change.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of experience working within Quality and GxP-regulated environments.
• 5+ years of experience supporting or managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience with enterprise Quality platforms such as Veeva Quality, Veeva Vault, or equivalent Quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of GxP regulations, System Validation, Computer System Validation (CSV), and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders across regional and global organizations.
• Proven success delivering technology solutions within regulated industries, preferably pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Strong project, change management, and business relationship management capabilities.
• Experience translating business requirements into technology strategies, roadmaps, and operational solutions.

Essential Skills

• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic business partnering skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across complex global organizations.

Languages

• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working in multinational pharmaceutical organizations with global Quality Operations responsibilities.
• Certification or practical experience in Agile methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
