Job summary

Innovaccer in India is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Leader to drive enterprise data vision and architect scalable cloud-based platforms including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming systems.

You will oversee a 40+ member multidisciplinary team, onboard customers to the Innovaccer platform, and collaborate with data science, analytics, product, and engineering to align data architecture with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute enterprise data vision by aligning data strategy with business objectives and architecting scalable cloud-based data platforms.
• Oversee a 40+ member multi-disciplinary team responsible for onboarding customers onto the Innovaccer platform and ensuring successful deployments.
• Define and execute the company's data engineering strategy while designing scalable data platforms including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming systems.
• Lead and grow data engineering teams by hiring senior engineers and managers and establishing engineering standards and best practices.
• Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines and manage real-time and batch processing systems while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Partner with Data Science, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to align data architecture with business goals and support AI/ML initiatives.
• Implement data quality frameworks, data governance policies, and ensure regulatory compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other standards.
• Own end-to-end implementation outcomes including delivery quality, timelines, data readiness, customer satisfaction, and financial performance of delivery organization.

Experience Required

• 1525 years of experience in healthcare delivery, health IT, population health, or payer/provider operations.


• Proven success leading large delivery or implementation organizations with 30-40 people.


• Strong financial acumen and experience owning delivery P&L and margin performance.


• Experience implementing complex healthcare data platforms, analytics solutions, or clinical systems at enterprise scale.


• Executive presence with ability to influence and communicate with customer CXOs.
