Job summary

Standard Chartered India is seeking a data analytics consultant to partner with senior business stakeholders, translating priorities into actionable analytics solutions that improve client acquisition, engagement, and profitability.

You will shape strategy through data and performance diagnostics, challenge assumptions, and present recommendations to leadership while upholding the highest standards of ethics and data management. This role offers hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in banking/fintechs.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python; experience with Tableau/Power BI/MSTR.
• Strong data-driven decision making and stakeholder management.
• Candidates from ISI/IIT/IIM or with a Master’s in Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/MBA.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategy through data, customer insights, and performance diagnostics.
• Challenge existing assumptions and identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, customer experience, and productivity
• Present recommendations and business cases to senior leadership forums.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, efficient and robust data management.

• Act as a trusted advisor to segment, product, sales, and digital teams, translating business priorities into actionable analytics solutions that improve client acquisition, engagement, deepening, retention, and profitability
