AECOM is seeking an Associate Director for Pipelines (Water) to join our Enterprise Capabilities team in Bengaluru/ Gurgaon. This hybrid role requires 18+ years of experience, with a track record of leading large water projects and delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Master’s in Civil / Water Resources / Environment / PHE is preferred along with professional qualifications such as C.Eng. Strong communication and independence are essential to thrive in this role within a global, flexible

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in civil/water resources projects, with exposure to international sites.
• Ability to lead mid- to large-size projects and provide technical input.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, able to work independently when required.

Job Description

• 18+ Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada, MER & ANZ region )


• Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects,.


• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise, Approves and signs off on work,


• Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.


• Presents complex technical solutions to clients. Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.


• Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.


• Participates in development of technical proposals.


• Participates in development of technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Civil / Water Resources / Environment / PHE


• Preferable to have or working towards Professional Qualification such as C.Eng. (ICE) or C.Eng. (IET) or C.CIWEM. Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.


• Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects


• Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.


• Accountability for assigned work. Accuracy & precision of work.
