Job summary

Dezy (Smiles.ai) invites a skilled dentist to join our Hyderabad clinic to deliver patient-centered care, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with senior dentists.

You will perform routine procedures, educate patients on oral health, maintain records, and liaise with the Chief General Dentist and local clinic partners to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant dental degree and registration.
• Experience in general dentistry and common procedures.
• Ability to educate patients and maintain records.
• Willingness to stay updated with dental advances.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations and diagnose conditions with senior dentists.
• Carry out intraoral scans, cleanings, fillings and related procedures.
• Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records including treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Chief General Dentist and staff to ensure patient care.
• Pursue continuing education on aligners and implants.
• Assist senior doctors during procedures and surgeries.
• Develop relationships with clinics and senior dentists in the region.
• Coordinate with patients on day of home/partner clinic scans.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Perform dental examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with senior dentists.
• Treatment Procedures: Carry out simple dental procedures such as intraoral scans, cleanings, fillings, etc
• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal dental health.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Chief General Dentist and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest developments in dentistry, such as aligners and implants, through continuous education and training opportunities.
• Assistance in Surgeries: Assist senior doctors during dental procedures and surgeries.
• Manage and enhance relationships with existing players / dental clinic chains / senior Dentists in the region through outbound reach and participation in trade fairs.
• Call and coordinate with the patients on the day of the home/partner clinic scan to reach the location on time.
