Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking an Associate Debt Manager – Flows – 2-Wheeler Loan to manage the 2-Wheeler loan portfolio, ensure timely collections, monitor delinquent accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to drive portfolio performance. The role is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, within the Retail Banking division.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of 2-Wheeler loans, and the ability to travel for field visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of debt management experience in retail banking.
• Experience in 2-Wheeler Loan collections is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the 2-Wheeler Loan portfolio and ensure timely collections and recoveries.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and take necessary actions to minimize losses.
• Conduct field visits to assess customer creditworthiness and collect overdue payments.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure timely payments and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for improving loan performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to 2-Wheeler Loans.
• Provide regular reports and updates on portfolio performance to senior management.
• Fluency in Bengali preferred.
• Knowledge of the local market.
• Experience in handling 2-Wheeler Loan collections in Kolkata is highly desirable.

The role is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, and contributes to the overall objectives of IDFC FIRST Banks Retail Banking division.
