Job summary

Philips in Bengaluru seeks an Associate Data Scientist to design, build and fine-tune Generative AI models for product use cases. You will work with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings and experiment tracking tools to push AI into production and edge environments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in information systems, CS, or data analytics and 5–7 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data modeling, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in information systems or CS or analytics field.
• 7+ years with Bachelor or 5+ years with Master in data analytics or modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and fine-tune Generative AI models for product use cases.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy models into production and edge environments.
• Work with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Leverage MLflow and Weights & Biases for experiment tracking.

Job Title

Associate Data Scientist

Job Description

Someone who can design, build, and fine-tune Generative AI models (LLMs, vision-language models, diffusion models) for product use cases

Hands on expertise in Large Language Models and prompt engineering

RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings

Experiment tracking tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases)

Traditional ML/DL techniques

Work with structured and unstructured datasets (images, text)

Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI models into production systems and embedded/edge environments

Minimum Required Education

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science or equivalent.

Minimum Required Experience

Minimum 7 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 5 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Data Analytics, Data Modeling or equivalent.
