Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. from a premier engineering institute.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, data engineering, or software development with a strong AWS focus.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, andhighly availablecloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
• Build andmaintaincloud-native solutions using services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Develop andmaintainInfrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Implement andoptimizeCI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Design and manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS).
• Configure andmaintaincloud networking components, including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, security groups, VPNs, and connectivity solutions.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption,secretsmanagement, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.
• Monitor cloud environments using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Automate operational tasks, environment provisioning, system maintenance, and incident response processes using Python and cloud-native automation tools.
• Optimizeinfrastructureutilizationand cloud spending through performance tuning,resource right-sizing, and cost-management initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across infrastructure, networking, deployment pipelines, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with development teams toestablishcloud architecture standards, deployment strategies, andoperational bestpractices.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, high availability, and business continuity initiatives across cloud environments.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and platform modernization initiatives.

Business Responsibilities

• Build in depth understanding of pharma forecasting concepts, disease areas, treatmentlandscapes,andmarketdynamicstocontextualizeforecastingmodelsand inform platform features
• Partnerwithcross-functionalteamstoensureforecastdeliverablesalignwithclientobjectives, timelines, and decision-making needs
• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by mentoringjuniorteammembersandhelpingcodifybestpracticesinforecastingand business analytics
• Growintoaclient-facingrole,combininganunderstandingofcommercialstrategy with forecastingexpertiseto lead engagements and drive value for clients

Skills and Technical Proficiencies

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience building backend applications, automation scripts, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, optimization, and integration with enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services, including services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS/EKS, and related cloud-native technologies.
• Working knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.
• Experience designing, developing, andmaintainingREST APIs, microservices, and serverless applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, source control systems (Git), and DevOps practices for automated deployments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
• Understanding ofcloud security, networking concepts, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Exposure to modern web technologies and full-stack application development is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in distributed cloud environments.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’sdegree(B.Tech/B.E.)fromapremierengineeringinstitute,preferablyin Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or relateddisciplines
• 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, data engineering, or software development, with a strong focus on AWS-based solutions.
