The Opportunity

As a key member of the FinOps team, you will work closely with a Business Unit at Sattva to drive change through data. You will collaborate with various teams and influence stakeholders, instill behaviour change and solve complex scaling problems with utmost urgency. The team’s operations are largely entrepreneurial in nature and require a high degree of innovation and agile decision‑making. This role rewards strong business understanding and execution‑level thinking — you should be someone who can quickly grasp how a business process functions and where the operational risk sits, and then move a problem forward with minimal interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and govern BU‑level data — project status, resourcing, costs, invoicing — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and automation wherever possible.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and MIS reports that give BU leadership actionable, decision‑ready insights at regular frequencies.
  • Track project and BU‑level metrics against key targets, flagging bottlenecks proactively.
  • Maintain resource allocation data across the BU; track utilisation and unallocated cost.
  • Support hiring forecasts against the project pipeline and track actuals against plan.
  • Support profit & loss budgeting and forecasting for the BU, working closely with central Finance team.
  • Track project costs (travel, third‑party, other), invoicing, and collections; surface variances and risks early.
  • Support cash governance — cost approvals, vendor payments, and financial hygiene across projects.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new projects into internal systems — pricing, SLAs, contracts, metadata.
  • Liaise with Sales/BD and Finance to ensure clean, timely project setup and communication.
  • Support development and streamlining of BU processes (vendor management, travel booking, cost approvals) to improve efficiency and reduce operational drag.
  • Support adoption of tools and systems within the BU, troubleshooting bottlenecks with relevant teams.
  • Act as a coordination point between BU leadership, central Finance, HR/Talent and Delivery teams.
  • Document learnings and maintain a feedback loop to feed process improvements back into how the BU operates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an internal, full‑time operations, finance or project management role at a company.
  • Strong hands‑on skills in Microsoft or Google Workspace, with comfort in data analysis and building structured reports.
  • Working understanding of budgeting/P&L concepts, or clear evidence of being able to pick this up fast.
  • Solution‑centric and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑driven, curious and adaptable personality with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Passionate about driving organisational change and impact.
  • Curiosity, and a genuine willingness to listen and learn.
Benefits
  • It’s not about us really- Because IMPACT is everybody’s business.
  • Create Impact: Make an impact with the work you do and solutions you design.
  • Work Environment: Thrive in a diverse, inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Learn & Grow: Challenge yourself to learn, grow, and deliver the best you can.
  • Future Ready: Work on critical issues of today that will affect our collective tomorrow.

Please note: The organization follows a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy, under which employees are required to use their personal laptops for work purposes, subject to compliance with the company’s information security and IT policies.
