Overview

Location: Mumbai | Service Line: TMT Assurance | Sub-service: Technology Risk

Responsibilities
  • Carry out operational, financial, process and Systems audits designed to review and appraise activities, systems, and controls.
  • Identify accounting and auditing issues and discuss with the audit in-charge to resolve issues that arise.
  • Carry out substantive testing of appliances in accordance with the audit plan and appropriately document all work performed.
  • Identify improvements to control systems and procedures.
  • Present audit reports clearly, highlighting key audit recommendations to management.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory books of accounts, perform reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable, and finalization of accounts.
  • Assist seniors in reviewing and checking financial statements and in the preparation of the audit report, management comment letter and management representation letter.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
  • Experience handling statutory audit assignments.
  • Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; clarity of thought and conciseness.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • BE/ B.Tech, or MSc in Computer Science/Statistics or MCA.
Experience
  • 3 - 6 years of relevant experience.
