Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with PeopleSoft configurations and BlackLine financial close processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly financial systems, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation processes; resolve discrepancies; and provide business expertise for PeopleSoft and BlackLine.
• Support audit, policy and procedure documentation and perform system analysis and testing in finacial systems (PeopleSoft and BlackLine) to resolve business support issues.
• Support organizing financial data to ensure accurate, timely reporting. Collaborate with accounting leaders to highlight key metrics and provide meaningful insights to senior management.
• Proactively establish and maintain strong partnerships across the business, influencing key decisions and initiatives.

Job Summary

Controllership is critical in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial results, enabling informed business decisions through a collaborative, service-focused approach. The Associate of Controllership supports the month-end close by monitoring account reconciliations and assisting with financial analysis. This role also supports department-based systems (PeopleSoft and BlackLine), gathers and documents technology and business requirements, conducts user testing, provides business support to stakeholders, and contributes to ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the organization.

Essential Job Functions

• Support the monthly financial systems, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation processes; resolve discrepancies; and provide business expertise for PeopleSoft and BlackLine. Gather business and technology requirements, conduct user testing, assist stakeholders, and streamline reporting and documentation processes. - (50%)
• Support audit, policy and procedure documentation and perform system analysis and testing in finacial systems (PeopleSoft and BlackLine) to resolve business support issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system and reporting accuracy and recommend and findings and enhancement. - (30%)
• Support organizing financial data to ensure accurate, timely reporting. Collaborate with accounting leaders to highlight key metrics and provide meaningful insights to senior management, enabling informed decision-making and strengthening client and stakeholder partnerships. - (10%)
• Proactively establish and maintain strong partnerships across the business, influencing key decisions and initiatives. Build and nurture effective relationships with US and internal teams to drive collaboration and alignment. - (10%)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in accounting functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assisted with PeopleSoft configurations and BlackLine financial close processes, supporting system enhancements and end-user troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with area of study in Finance & Accounts.
• 1+ years of experience in accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis, reporting and PeoplsSoft and Blackline business function support .
