Job summary

Iris Software Inc. in India seeks an experienced Associate Architect with deep SDLC and GenAI expertise to lead enterprise solution design.

You will architect scalable applications, integrate AI capabilities, and set engineering standards across projects. The role focuses on cloud-native architectures on Azure/AWS/GCP, security, performance, and governance, with mentorship to development teams and collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust designs.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in software architecture.
• Proven ability to design enterprise-grade AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong experience with SDLC and solution design across large projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and microservices.
• Familiarity with AI governance, data security, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise applications across the SDLC.
• Define solution architecture, technical roadmaps, design patterns, and development standards.
• Drive adoption of Generative AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP with emphasis on security and performance.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, DevOps practices, and quality gates.
• Mentor development teams and provide architectural guidance throughout projects.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Architect with strong expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), solution architecture, and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end solution design, architect scalable applications, integrate AI-powered capabilities, and establish engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise applications across the SDLC.
• Define solution architecture, technical roadmaps, design patterns, and development standards.
• Drive adoption of Generative AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, DevOps practices, quality gates, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
• Mentor development teams and provide architectural guidance throughout project delivery.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, DevOps).
• Hands-on experience in Application Architecture and Solution Design.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software quality, security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale AI-enabled applications.
• Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI, and data security frameworks.
• Certifications in Cloud Architecture, TOGAF, Azure AI, AWS AI, or related technologies.
