Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Associate, AI & Data Engineering to build enterprise AI capabilities across Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini Enterprise. The role focuses on secure integrations, data grounding, automation, governance, and operational excellence.

Based in Bangalore, you will design, deploy, and maintain solution architectures, build connectors, and scale Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines while enforcing AI governance and data residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of hands-on experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Gemini Enterprise, and Vertex AI.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in AI platforms, cloud engineering, automation, data platforms, or enterprise app development.

Responsibilities

• Build secure, scalable enterprise data and AI capabilities.
• Design, deploy, and maintain solution architectures across Copilot, Copilot Studio, Gemini Enterprise, Google Workspace, and Vertex AI.
• Build enterprise connectors, plugins, and OpenAPI manifests for integration with proprietary databases, ERPs, and legacy systems.
• Design, tune, and scale Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines using Microsoft Graph and Google Cloud APIs.
• Design and implement autonomous multi-agent workflows.
• Connect low-code automations with backend scripts in Python or TypeScript.
• Assess emerging AI platforms and tools and produce recommendation reports.
• Enforce AI governance, tenant isolation, and DLP policies.
• Ensure AI outputs respect enterprise data boundaries, user permissions, and regional data residency requirements
• Track AI usage, API latency, response quality, and cost trends
• Build dashboards in Power BI or Looker to optimize licensing and total cost of ownership
• Govern Microsoft Power Platform and M365 environments with security, DLP, ALM, and compliance
• Operationalize ML and generative AI solutions across the Azure AI ecosystem
