Job summary

TVM Signalling and Transportation Systems Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Technical Manager to lead IT process initiatives and supervise Infrastructure Management, Technical Support, Incident Management, and continuous improvement functions. You will guide the IT team, manage infrastructure, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

The role requires strong leadership, ITIL knowledge, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and drive IT service excellence

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT teams and services.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Infrastructure Management- Oversee IT systems, networks, and hardware.
• Provide expert-level support for hardware, software, and network issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
• Administer and maintain IT systems, including servers (Windows/Linux), cloud services and virtualization platforms.
• Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Oversee help desk operations to ensure timely resolution of user issues and queries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, solutions, end standard operating procedures.
• Manage and prioritize high-impact incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the IT support team.
