Product Design Engineer with specialized expertise in Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear, including Contactors, Overload Relays (OLR), Starters, Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB), Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB), Switch Disconnectors and Distribution boards.

What You’ll Do

Product Design Engineer with specialized expertise in Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear, including Contactors, Overload Relays (OLR), Starters, Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB), Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB), Switch Disconnectors and Distribution boards. The candidate should possess a comprehensive background in product development, hands-on experience in LV product type testing and test planning, and a strong understanding of IEC standards, particularly IEC:60947-1/2/3/4/5.

• Apply expertise in LV Switchgear to contribute to the design and development of LV products.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical/ Electronics Engg
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Low Voltage Switchgear design

Skills

• Sound knowledge of LV Switchgear products, including ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, RCCBs, Contactors, Overload Relays, and Switch Disconnectors.
• Hands-on experience in Switchgear laboratory testing activities.
• Strong understanding of IEC 60947, 947-4-1, 947-5-1 standards and their application in product design and testing.
• Hands-on experience in coordinating with certification agencies and testing laboratories.
• Exposure to localization, cost optimization, and VAVE projects.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
